AI Systems Architect · Advisory from Oct 2026
AI Production Systems Architect.
I architect AI agent systems and FinTech platforms that survive production - the kind with p99 commitments, regulator audits, and quarterly cloud-cost reviews on the same desk.

A trading engine, re-architected in nine months.
The bottleneck wasn't the matching algorithm - it was the JVM holding the matching thread on a heap shared with audit and reporting. We split them.
The board committed to sub-2s p99 next quarter. A full rewrite was off the table - 12 engineers, one quarter. We decomposed three hot services surgically. The fast path got radically simpler, and it stopped lying about its latency.

Six lenses I bring to every system.

AI Agent Systems
Orchestrator → leads → specialists. Not a chatbot - a system with clear routing, failure modes, and production observability. I've built one. I operate it daily.

↗
FinTech Architecture
Latency commitments, audit trails, regulatory constraints. 11 years under real production pressure at p99 - not on a demo cluster.

Cloud-Native Modernisation
A sequenced path off the legacy monolith that cuts the cloud bill without a risky big-bang rewrite. Measured, not hand-wavy.

Engineering Leadership
Translating why into how and back again. Technical strategy, team alignment, and the delivery cadence that makes it stick.

Technical Governance
SOC 2, GDPR, PCI-DSS. Compliance as a default - not a last-mile audit the week before the regulator lands.

Performance Engineering
p99 commitments met. Cloud bills cut. Throughput improvements that survive the next quarter and the one after that.
