What this covers

This policy covers sagarthakkar.com and the connected "Sagar Thakkar" publishing tools used to post my own content to social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, X). It describes what data is collected, why, and what happens to it.

Data I collect

• Contact form: the name, email address, and message you submit. Used only to reply to you. Never added to a mailing list, never shared, never sold.
• Analytics: self-hosted, privacy-respecting analytics (Matomo) records anonymised page views to understand which articles are read. No advertising trackers, no third-party ad networks.
• Server logs: standard access logs (IP address, user agent, requested page) kept briefly for security and debugging.

Meta and other social platforms

The "Sagar Thakkar" app connected to Meta's platform exists solely to publish my own posts to pages and accounts I own. It does not read, collect, store, or process any personal data belonging to other platform users. No platform user data is transferred off-platform, shared with third parties, or used for any other purpose.

To request deletion of any data associated with your interaction with my pages or this app, email me at the address below and I will remove it and confirm.

Cookies

The site itself sets no marketing or advertising cookies. Analytics may use a first-party cookie to distinguish repeat visits; nothing is shared with advertisers.

Sharing and retention

I do not sell, rent, or trade any data. Contact messages are kept only as long as our correspondence is active. Analytics data is aggregate and anonymised.

Your rights

You can ask what data I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email connect@sagarthakkar.com and I will respond within a reasonable time.

Changes

If this policy changes, the update lands on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
